Hi, Welcome to Lennahsmindspace🤝
My thought on FEMINISM wasn’t enough and so I decided to consult Kymah and here is what she said⬇️
Over to her🗣🗣

I'm Kymah, a blogger on a brief hiatus, student and entrepreneur.
My hobbies include reading, creating content, interacting  with people and eating. I'm a rather blunt and sarcastic person and a lot of people have a problem with that but who cares?
I don't!
I love CardiB and everything CardiB!

Feminism is a range of political movements, ideologies, and social movements that share a common goal: to define, establish, and achieve political, economic, personal, and social equality of sexes. This includes seeking to establish educational and professional opportunities for women that are equal to those for men.

Feminist movements have campaigned and continue to campaign for women's rights, including the right to vote, to hold public office, to work, to earn fair wages or equal opportunities, to own property , to receive education, to enter contracts, to have equal rights within marriage, and to have maternity leave. Feminists have also worked to ensure access to legal abortions and social integration, and to protect women and girls from rape, sexual harassment, and domestic violence. Changes in dress and acceptable physical activity have often been part of feminist movements.

I'm usually not one to talk about Feminism but I will today.
I purposely put the real and intended definition of FEMINISM before I started to write my opinions.
I avoid talking about feminism because a lot (emphasis on the "lot"!) of ladies have gotten it wrong. There's a huge difference between RESPONSIBILITIES and RIGHTS but a lot of ladies do not know this.
Feminism is about fighting for equal rights and opportunities for the female gender. Simply put, the girl child deserves education just the boy child. She deserves the opportunity to be educated and have equal opportunities at jobs and a better life. She deserves the right to vote and be voted for. She should be paid the same wages as her male counterparts.
Feminism is NOT about slacking on the responsibilities of a woman. I feel extreme disgust when I see ladies on social media saying they won't cook or clean for a man. Madam, that's just wrong.
A woman is a homemaker not a home wrecker.
If you say you don't want to do it, who should?
Yes, you have gone to work and so has he. That's what Feminism is about, Feminism has fought for you to be educated and have a job.
Don't get me wrong... I'm not saying you should slave in the kitchen all day but do your basic responsibilities to your husband.
A woman's strength lies in her ability to keep her home together and still have a career.
Again, any woman who knows the strength and beauty she wields as a woman wouldn't want to be a man.
So before you shout about being a Feminist again, think long and hard.
It is not a struggle for lazy women who do not want to cook for their families but for that little girl in Northern Nigeria who is being denied her right to education because her father thinks the girl child is only useful for childbearing and will belong to another family in the end.
That is Feminism.
I for one, love cooking and eating. I intend to spoil my husband with different types of cuisines because it is my responsibility to be his peace and provide a peaceful haven for him to come back to. Let him be the King he is and you the Queen you are.
But I still stand that every girl deserves education, voting rights amongst others.
We need to stop reigning on the parade of men in the name of Feminism. Let him be please.
You are a Queen and wield a strength so unbelievable to a human. Don't ever doubt it.
We are women and we give life to the next generation.
That's enough strength.
Stop comparing yourself to a man.
You are stronger than you know.

Thank you kymah,
This is so beautiful😅

I made this open to two lovely girls,
You can have a taste of the second writer. You need this!
